Lee sighed deeply when he trained. He had felt down all week. The reason was that Sakura dates Naruto now, so his dreams of having her had crushed. And she said she loved Naruto deeply. Lee hadn't eaten recently, neither had he slept. He was that depressed. It was like he melted in to the ground.
"What's wrong with my youthful student today?" Lee turned around to meet Gai-sensei's eyes. His normal youthful grin had turned into a worry in the sensei's eyes. He walked over to Lee and put his hand on his student's shoulder. The younger nin refused to meet his teacher's gaze. He didn't want him to see the sadness he had. But he couldn't trick Gai. Gai knew him too well.
"Lee, look at me. I know something's bothering you, please tell me. Maybe I can help?" The Chuunin looked up at his sensei, hesit

Lee was not devious by nature. As much as it was a required skill of a ninja, he found lying was perhaps an area he was even weaker in than ninjitsu and genjutsu. He simply had no ability for it, nor did he have the stomach to cradle the guilt that came when covering up the truth to someone he cared about. It was one of the reasons whenever his team would do something, Guy-sensei's eyes would flicker to him and Tenten and Neji would do anything in their power to shut him up.
But there were instances where he found himself acting in a slightly calculated manner and while there was guilt, he was sure the red in his face gave him away as well.
"Are you certain your hands aren't cold?" Hinata asked as they walked through the village, taking in the scene as decorations for the winter festival were put up. There was a light wind that carried the snow flakes in delicate swirls and their feet crunched over thin ice and tiny snow mounds. Lee kept h

It was cold.
That was how Konoha was, though warm, sunny, and filled with green in the summer; cold, cloudy, and laced with snow in the winter. But luckily for the village, and for its namesake, the snowy times didn't last nearly as long as the green times, the times with the leaves that made it a place few could forget.
Such cold and snowy months were usually good for keeping anyone indoors; anyone except training shinobi, of course. More specifically, anyone except Rock Lee. And this was exactly the reason the young Hyuuga girl was on her way to the training grounds, braving the snowy weather to find him there.
If you don't believe me,
If you don't like my plans,
You mustn't tell me,
How I know your face like the back of my hands
Hinata had been walking a while now, as the grounds were a good ways from the main village. One might say she was a bit crazy for suspecting this was the place Lee was, going all the way ou

GuyLee: Baby Booties
It was probably Lee's favorite place in all of Konoha, greater even than the Academy roof or the training field he had managed to claim as his own. As a young boy he had stumbled upon this pond in the early spring, when a new family of ducklings had just been trying out their sea legs. He had come every day after that to lie on his stomach on the creaky old dock and watch the small yellow balls of fluff grow.
Maybe it was because of that strong association with childhood that Lee had come here to try and sort out the big tangled ball of emotion he'd become.
He'd known, sort of academically, for months now that his wife was pregnant. Hinata had told him as soon as she'd found out, and he'd watched with some fascination as Hinata's smooth belly began to swell a little in the front like a hill on the horizon. He'd been thrilled when Sakura had announced to them that they weren't just having one baby, but two, and picking out names th

This is a disaster.
TenTen opened one eye to peer over at Neji, whod sat down gracefully beside her. He looked exhausted, which was weird, because Neji always looked in control, even when he was losing a battle. Besides the tired slump of his shoulders and frown on his face, there was a paper in his hand. That was the only thing she could see that might be the case of the change.
Bad mission assignment of something? She asked, sitting up from where shed been lying in the shade, reading a scroll on the study of chain repair.
No, the Hyuuga muttered, offering the paper up for her to take. Worse.
Curious, TenTen held it up so she could read it.
My dear Hinata, it read. I have noticed that your lovely smile has been all but absent lately. It makes my heart ache to see you so sad.
She hadnt given the matter much thought, but Hinata had seemed rather down lately. Quie

Hinata could admit that there were some advantages to being a Hyuuga. Money was never something she had to worry about, nor was there ever concern about how she would get her next meal. She had the best clothes, the best bedding, everything always the best. She couldnt do the injustice of saying she didnt enjoy the luxury either, even though she wanted to be a strong ninja. She liked her pretty comfortable things.
Right up until a point anyway. Because being a Hyuuga had lots of downsides, too, particularly when you were the Clan Leaders oldest daughter. Regular mandatory formal parties, so she could be introduced to the heads of other clans and almost every eligible boy in Konoha, were one such thing.
Maybe if she were brave, like Sakura or Ino, she could have fun, flitting from one group of guests to another with ease and grace, always ready for some new conversation. She wasnt like that, though. Talking to all thos

Curry of Love
The early November rain was cold and driving right through his spandex as he splashed through yet another puddle on his way to the Hyuuga compound. Neji hadnt shown up for practice, and Guy-sensei had sent Lee to retrieve him. Neji should know by now, they always trained, no matter the weather, and it was unlike him to be late. His teammate better have a good reason for his tardiness, especially in rain like this.
Lee let himself in the front gates. He had stopped by so many times that the Hyuugas were used to him, and Hiashi-sama himself had told him to feel free so as not to bother anyone. He darted down the hall, sliding to a stop outside the right door, and banging loudly. Neji-kun! Neji-kun, wake up! Where are you?
Neji groaned loudly and threw his pillow at the door, making a soft thud as the object hit the wood. He instantly regretted that action, as his head hit the futon below him. He muttered under his breath
